Our Clinical Approach

A Foundation of Precision, Compassion & Longevity

Abraham Specialist Dental Care has cared for generations of patients in Central London. Originally established by Dr Robert Abraham, the practice relocated to its current purpose-built surgery on the ground floor of 40 Harley Street in 2016. In 2025, Dr Robert Abraham retired, passing practice ownership and clinical leadership to his daughter, Dr Emilie Abraham.

Our approach is strictly conservative and tooth-preserving. We believe the best dentistry is that which preserves as much of your healthy, natural tooth structure as possible. By integrating high-resolution intra-oral cameras, digital radiography, and Swiss air-polishing technology, we provide clear diagnostic insight and transparent treatment guidance.

As a 100% amalgam-free practice, all our restorative work utilizes aesthetic composite resins and advanced dental ceramics that bond directly to natural tooth enamel and dentine. For complex multi-disciplinary cases, we facilitate seamless joint care with a trusted network of West End specialists in Orthodontics, Endodontics, Periodontics, and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Practice Principal

Dr Emilie Abraham

Specialist in Prosthodontics

Dr Emilie Abraham graduated with Honours from the University of Sheffield in 2012. She subsequently undertook rigorous hospital training as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at York Teaching Hospital, managing complex facial trauma, acute infections, and surgical interventions.

She completed her 3-year Specialist Training with a Master’s in Clinical Dentistry (MClinDent) in Prosthodontics from Queen Mary University of London, achieving Membership in Restorative Dentistry (MRD) with the Royal College of Surgeons, England. Her research investigated novel glass-ceramic materials for tooth restoration.

Dr Emilie mentors on MSc Implantology programmes, teaches Operative Dentistry at King’s Dental Hospital, and is a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI). She has practiced on Harley Street since 2021.

Razia brings over 20 years of continuous clinical experience across both the NHS and premier private West End dental environments. She is proficient in cutting-edge dental technologies, clinical governance, sterilization protocols, and surgical chairside assistance.

She plays an active role in mentoring and training trainee dental nurses, ensuring that the highest standards of hygiene and patient safety are maintained.

Razia has worked with Dr Robert Abraham for 13 years and with Dr Emilie Abraham for the last 4 years. When outside the clinic, she enjoys practicing yoga and pilates, community volunteering, and spending time with her family.

Ms Agnieszka Boutlbee

Dental Hygienist & Dental Therapist

GDC No: 175714 • DipDH RCS (Eng), DipDT RCS (Eng)

Agnieszka qualified in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy from King’s College Hospital in 2013. She has practiced in Central London private clinics, working exclusively in West End specialist settings since 2020.

She is an accredited Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) specialist, championing minimally invasive air-polishing hygiene techniques. Agnieszka specializes in the prevention and treatment of periodontal disease (gingivitis and periodontitis), dental caries, and the delicate maintenance of complex dental implants and cosmetic composite bonding.

A member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy (BSDHT), she is also a qualified yoga teacher (certified in 2018), keen cyclist, and paddle-boarder.

Practice Founder (Retired 2025)

Dr Robert Abraham

MSc Prostho (USA), GDC Registered Specialist in Prosthodontics

Dr Robert Abraham has practiced specialist prosthodontics in Central London for over three decades, caring for multiple generations of families with immense compassion and surgical artistry.

After earning his Master’s Degree in Prosthodontics from the Indiana University School of Dentistry (USA), he served for 24 years as a Senior Specialist Clinical Teacher at King’s Dental Institute in London, training hundreds of undergraduate and postgraduate dental clinicians.

Dr Robert was a pioneer in dental ceramics, non-metallic tooth restorations, and micro-invasive dentistry (such as air abrasion), presenting clinical lectures across Europe, Hong Kong, Argentina, and Sri Lanka. He relocated the clinic to 40 Harley Street in 2016, and in 2025 formally retired after mentoring his daughter, Dr Emilie Abraham, to carry forward the practice ethos.

Mrs Roxanna Abraham

Registered General Nurse (St George’s Hospital, London 1977)

Roxanna Abraham is a co-founder of the practice and played an indispensable role in establishing its reputation for exceptional, individualized patient care and seamless administration.

Trained as a General Medical Nurse at St George’s Hospital, London (qualifying in 1977), she brought extensive hospital experience in Orthopaedics, Geriatrics, Neurology, and Intensive Care Units (ICU) to the clinical operations of the dental practice.

Alongside Dr Robert, Roxanna created an environment where every patient felt welcomed, heard, and cared for like family. Her compassionate values remain the cornerstone of the clinic today.
